Here’s the newsletter for March. I think we’re all getting a little tired with this winter and the weather it has brought us. It’s now time to take some action and all of us need to “Think Spring” all at the same time and maybe something with finally break loose. Ya think?

TREASURER'S REPORT FOR MARCH 2011

The Audit Committee of Cindy Davis, Claudia Brown, and Pete Addeo reviewed the books on February 3, 2011 and found them in order.

I filed the Montana Corporation Annual Report on February 11, 2011.  The State of Montana has made this report very easy to do by filling out the form with all of the previous year's information and made it available on-line.  All that's necessary to do is to print it off and send in the money.

I received memberships from 5 people since the February newsletter -  Carol Barbian, M. Elizabeth Friesz, Lynn Weger,  Pat and Nancy Ryan. resulting in an income of $50.00

I paid bills for LW Enterprises for trimming the 2 crab apple trees at the Fort Garden - $250.00; paid On-Line Montana for the maintenance of our website for 2011 - $135.00;  paid The Eagle's Lodge for rental of the meeting room for the March MIS meeting - $50.00; paid Carol Addeo for the newsletter printing  expenses from January through June 2011 - $150.00; and the Secretary of State for the Corporation Annual Report - $15.00. Total paid expenses are $600.00.

The SAVINGS ACCOUNT had no activity in February,  therefore the balance remained at $8976.20.  Within this value are three separate sub-accounts for the General Fund, the Judges Fund, and the Memorials Fund.

The values for each Fund are as follows - 

General Fund = $7948.20;
Judges Fund = $516.00;

Memorials Fund = $502.00.

The CHECKING ACCOUNT balance for January 31, 2011 was $768.16.

With the $50.00 income from memberships received and the expenses paid the February 28, 2011 balance is $218.16.
