Members:
Hi, Gang!
Here is the March Newsletter.
It's getting on in a new year and we would like to get our membership to grow with
some new blood infusions. We need to get our "Tell a Friend" new
membership campaign up and going with everyone's help - let's all see about inviting a friend to a
meeting. There will be prizes awarded for the member that invites
the most friends to our meetings during the year. They don't have to
become members to qualify. We will be striving to make our meetings more
fun and interesting for everyone. So let's all get into a group spirit
and invite some one you know to our meetings. Thanks.

Presidential Rhizome Drawing -
2
Drawings Again??
We will
need to draw 2 names again at this next meeting for the Presidential
Rhizome as Pete Addeo has stated that he has also already won in
September and also in
February and he was not eligible to win for 2 months. We will re-draw
for February at the March meeting. If Carol and Pete can stop winning,
maybe some other members will be able to win a rhizome too!

Iris Sale Chair - Looks like we still are in dire need
for a chairperson for our biggest event of the year! There must be
someone out there that would be willing to chair the Annual Iris Sale
for our group!! Where are You?? Maybe if we could get someone to chair
the event, we could also get enough VOLUNTEERS to help with the event
as well. This has always been the biggest problem for the Sale Chair.
Getting Volunteers to help! Alverta is helping with the card file and
Gary has volunteered his yard for the sorting location. This is our
most important event for our club and we are looking for someone that
can take control and we will all help in getting volunteers to help
with the work. C'mon guys, let's get in there and get our hands dirty!
- Iris Sale Card Party - Alverta Symes will also be having a
card party at her home on March 19th from 11am to 3pm. We need
everyone to bring any photos you have of iris and any catalogs and
magazines you have as well. She needs help with working on the cards
and sorting the photos for our annual sale. This will be a brown bag
lunch and Alverta will supply the drinks for those attending.
-
- Calendar Orders - Has anyone ordered a calendar and not
received it?? Here's a new twist. Swede has more money on account for
calendars than how many calendars we had to sell! Contact Swede right away
if you're missing a calendar that you paid for and never received.

It's Their
Birthday!!....Let's Give 'Em a Cheer!!!
-
Happy day to Beth Wright - March 1st, and Bob Brown -
March 4th. Have a happy
birthday and all the good wishes and cheers that go along with it.

The Presidential Rhizome for February needs to be re-drawn because
Pete Addeo already won in Sept 2004.
