Saturday, June 5 - Meeting at
the home of Elizabeth Friesz in Alberton. Call for directions at
722-4918.
Tour of her huge iris gardens in bloom, potluck supper at 6:30 p.m.
followed by the meeting.
Saturday, June 12 - Annual iris
show at Southgate Mall in J.C. Penney Court. Chairpersons are
Betty Ann Gustafson and Donna Dowell.
Saturday evening, June 12 - Iris
show awards banquet. Location to be announced.
Saturday July 10 - Meeting at
the home of Jim and Linda Sadler, 1220 Clements Rd, 728-4743. Tour
of their interesting and versatile garden, including a new water
feature, followed by an outdoor patio potluck supper at 6:30 p.m.,
then the meeting.
Sunday, July 25 - Sale
preparation begins. Digging, cleaning, trimming at the display
garden at Fort Missoula. All members welcome. Billie Gray, Fort
Gardens Chairperson. Sale chairpersons are Pete and Carol Addeo,
251-5833.
Tuesday, July 27 - Members begin
dropping off cleaned and trimmed rhizomes to sell at the home of
Pete and Carol Addeo, 5805 Helena Dr in Linda Vista.
Wednesday, July 28 - Work party
at Addeo's.
Thursday, July 29 - Sorting
begins. All members welcome to help.
Friday, July 30 - Sorting,
boxing and loading. All members welcome to help.
Friday evening, 6:00 p.m. -
Stone soup potluck party at Addeo back yard. Bring a soup
ingredient for a turkey soup base.
Saturday, July 31 - Rhizome sale
at Fort Missoula gardens, set up begins at 8 a.m.
Saturday afternoon - 1:00 p.m. Pizza and chicken after sale back
yard party at Addeo's home.
August - No meeting
Saturday, September 11 - Meeting
and potluck at home of Bob and Alverta Symes, 3029 River Bend Dr,
Bonner. Phone 258-6649 at 6:30 p.m.
